A Day To Remember

"A Day To Remember"

August 2002

A memory you'll never forget.

Things can be muddled, murky, and miserable but nothing can take away a true moment of happiness.

2 you

"2 You"

March 1996

There is nothing to it.

Step Back

"Step Back"

May 2006

This was created yesterday at 6 and finished at 7. I'll be embellishing it with some paint sometime in the future.

Lots of personal symbols in here. I may just add more if i can find the room and inspiration.

Dare I say it's another self portrait but this one's got a twist.

Take one giant step back.

Wet Hair

"Wet Hair"

February 2001

Some say life is short. I disagree completely. Life is long, very long. Just think of all the things you can accomplish in your lifetime, or a decade, or a year, maybe a month or a week. How about a day, or within a matter of hours, minutes, or even seconds.

Life is long so you better make it count while you're here.

November 1997

Your guess is as good as mine.

Ceremonial Sickness

"Ceremonial Sickness"

January 2001

Give in to your vices. Fall hard and enjoy the drop.

The rooster won't let you rest. Wakes you every day ceremonially to pester your existance.

Sink to the bottom. Relish every minute of this self punishment.

It's yours, let no one take that away.

Don't be a fucking quitter.

June 1997

Hinderers Hindsight.

Another black and white piece from my Italian sketchbook. I drew on the train all the time out there. Half the shit you see here is stuff you'll find on the Ferrovia.
Check out the magic eightball. Zoom in a little closer and you'll see it reads
"No Chance In Hell".

It's Never Ok

"It's Never OK"

January 2001

An umbrella for protection. Deep wounds from society.
Half eaten limbs that barely work. An invisable sexuality.
A failure who'll never get there. Negative all the time.

April 2006

Sympathy for something I'll never know or feel. I have birth envy.

She Said

"She Said"

June 2001

Do you listen to the man who thinks with logic or to the woman who thinks with emotion? Obviously, these are generalizations. But where do you sway? What do you say?

Drug Mule

"Drug Mule"

May 2002

Unfortunately, I was unable to scan the original. Therefore, what you see is a sorry excuse of the great and powerful Drug Mule. This is yet another one of my favorite pieces. I loved it so much I gave it away. Andy NYCMech MacDonald owns it now.

Back in 2002 I read an article or saw some news story about a woman who had smuggled narcotics in her system. Customs caught her somehow. They found something like thirty-five bags of dope in her belly. I tried to match the number of baggies visable in my drawing. I wanted to put in as many as the article detailed just so I wouldn't forget this crazy story.

Heller part 2

"Heller" part 2

July 2004

This was to be the front part of the CD/Album cover.

A number of things would be tweaked on the final. For instance:

My signature would be removed because i think it interfers with the flow of things.

Also the colors would have to be a little bit brighter. Shocking blue instead of this pale purple shit that I prefer and love so much.

May 2006

It will rain for days. Everything would wash away. Not a cleansing, no. More like an act of cruelty with great anger. Disgust from somewhere up high...and yet they're in prison. Seperated in prison.

"Heller" part 1

July 2004

This was geared to be a wrap around CD/album cover for a musician friend's latest opus.

He said he loved the energy and feel of the piece. In the end I think he went with a photo of himself for the cover of his CD... or... maybe he blew me off because this image was too strange to represent him and his music.

The part you see here is the back of the design where song titles would usually be.

April 2006

I once thought art had to begin and end at the drawing table.

This one was made in a hospital. I spruced it up with some photoshop.

Until yesterday we spent most of 2006 stuck (one way or the other) inside that hosp.

I hope we won't have to go back. I like the comfort of working from my own table.

Circa 1999

Crafty hamster with wings.

This was a class project.

Teacher thought I was retarded.

"Whatever Makes You Happy"

April 2001

Self sacrifice to benefit someone else.

The surrender of one's true self in an attempt to make the other happy.

One blossoms while the other rots.

Hidden Self

"Hidden Self"

February 1999

Draw yourself.

Look in the mirror and be true.

I've heard "The difference between how you look and how you see yourself is enough to kill most people."

January 2004

Utter nonsense. Trivial junk. Random chances.

Is it luck?

Uguale 2

"Uguale 2"

April 2006

A small detail enlarged then doubled- for no apparent reason.

An apple falling far from it's tree.

Isn't it apparent ?

Make It Last

"Make It Last"

August 2005

A beautiful orgasm...

for a price.
